A hybrid responsive adaptive application capable of distribution across various Mobile, set top, web, and console devices via various middleware.
Evolving from our previous success with totalTV we understood that a single adaptive responsive html5 code base could be used as a core interface experience across a variety of platforms, creating our connected guide solution.
The Unified Guide would be a hybrid application utilizing native code middleware such as Cordova, branded SDK & RDK's to port the application to various devices. This allows for a more streamlined team, a single shared code base for interface, and familiarity of UI / UX to the user.
A recommendation & personalization engine integrated with Rovi metadata and the Unified Guide code base allows us to personalize the primary landing / or home page within the guide.
Additionally, knowing a user's preferences, we can tailor monetization within this experience so that VoD content and ads are designed to elicit the highest level of engagement from the user.
The same html5 code base seamlessly delivers traditional grids onscreen within the guide experience, allowing for easy navigation.
This allows for multiple devices to become the search and discover tool while maintaining the same experienvce.
Using rich Rovi metadata for show times, descriptions, cast, and media galleries, we are able to deepen the guide experience, helping drive more engagement and satisfaction for the user.
Studying years of guide data, analytics, and user testing helped create the ideal deep dive experience.
By creating highly personalized profiles within the Unified Guide application, we are able to not only personalize the recommendations, but track devices, usage, and create powerful parental controls to help ensure a safe experience for the whole family.
Utilizing Middleware such as Cordova / Phone gap, the same adaptive responsive code base is capable of displaying in almost any mobile device, IOS Android Windows Kindle fire
This Hybrid application uses native code as a wrapper which allows the html5 interface to access the hardware
On full display across multiple devices at IBC in Amsterdam fall 2014!
HTML5 syndicated entertainment guide
in 2012 I was brought onboard to rebuild & rebrand the aging TV Guide Brand as a cross platform embeddable application.
Multi Platform OTT Guide Application; Online & Adaptive Responsive HTML5 syndicated television guide application that integrates over 10,000 provider sources and services Millions of monthly Uniques to display a custom TV lineup based on users's Zip Codes, Provider selection, and other custom requirements such as MSOID & Categories.
TotalTV was built as a solution for hundreds of clients who wanted to either display customizable tv listings, or needed to display their own listings.
This html5 responsive web application hosted over 2.5 million uniques / month across over 200 websites. This ad supported platform utilizes a free to use model, generating income by diverse ad integration tied to user actions.
As our data projected, we saw an increased demand for mobile and tablet devices. Leveraging responsive adaptive html5 design principles we were able to create a single application code base that could display progressively on mobile, tablet, and web devices.
The same responsive capabilities that allow for mobile viewing, also allow for an excellent tablet experience. TotalTV has been tested on IOS, Android, & Kindle Fire devices.

Physical 3d models can be extremely helpful in understanding material needs, proportions, practical aspects such as support structure and range of visibility for the operator. It also makes for a great opportunity to experiment with lighting setups.
to help organize content and do offline fundraising, I have created a deck to showcase the team, our timeline, budgets, resources and more. This particular page represents work created by the art collective team.
this page was created to assemble our art and design resources helping to showcase the thought process and visualization skills that help generate this project
Running a fundraising campaign is a full time job that requires a lot of collaboration, planning, social strategizing, and networking.
Here is the beating heart of the project, where your community comes together, where your updates are posted, where the primary story is presented in video, text, and images.
In conjunction with the core indiegogo page, a campaign of this size requires FB social management as well. The community needs to have a presence on many social networks to rally support, raise awareness, and get the word out. Creating a cohesive group that communicates with eachother and responds to updates is a big part of leveraging that medium.
Analytics in a campaign of this scale can be very important, which sites are your top performers, which contributors are your top referrers? Can i utilize another platform better? How is my ad campaign doing on facebook, should i boost a post for the day?
Ongoing monitoring and analysis of your campaign is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle, stay aware, watch the trends, adjust accordingly.
Seeing your work made manifest to inspire others makes it all worth while.
HookTV Fishing / Outdoor Video Community
Hook.tv was an exciting project bridging an existing niche via the web to the many fans of the Adventure Guides television series on the outdoor network. By creating a home online for members, we established an active media sharing network of fly fishing community. Through constant participation this community explored how to videos, member forums, and highly relevant product placement from targeted integrated ads. As CTO of Hook.tv it was my responsibility to understand this marketplace, explore the technologies necessary to build our platform, assist in fundraising, and manage our incredible team.
